Our name is our virtue...
So, my best friend....

Has a habit of dying her hair at home. Badly. Like, she's a brunette, and she will dye her hair blonde. Yellow blonde. It looks horrible. Not even joking.

Back in October, my Mom (who is a cosmetologist) offered to do her hair. Free. No charge. She colored, cut, and styled it. Easily 70 bucks. Tessa didn't pay a dime.

I won't lie, it looked fucking awesome. Tess loved it, Mom loved it, everyone loved it. And Mom told her not to ever, ever dye her hair again at home. Mom would just do it. Free, again.

So, why is it so hard to imagine that I would get mad at her, when she just dyed her hair? 1. She actually paid for it. My mother would have done it for free. 2. Tessa calls my mother, 'Mom' You'd think there'd be some kind of loyalty there. 3. It was an awesome job.

Its just baffling how people will screw you over. Because Mom put her time, effort, and products out there. For nothing. And got slapped in the face, in my opinion. Especially when Tess went to Wal-Mart. Wal. Mart.

What the fuck?

WoW. Yeah, I can pretty much see why you're upset. Your friend (excuse me for saying this) must not be a smart cookie. Turning down someone who will dye, cut, and style her hair? For free?

Not too smart at all.

I didn't think so. But I can't help but loving her. It's just being a 15 year old, I suppose. *sigh*

1. Walmart dyes hair? Shut the front door.
2. The salon I work at, a color correction (which is what going from darker hair to blond is) costs 100.00 an hour.
3. People are dumb, and it is the number one reason that I hate so many of them.

Mom doesn't charge by hour, but she does charge by length.

40.00 for the color itself. the product. Then she adjusts the price further for short, medium, and long hair.

Tessa had shortish hair, so it was about 70-80.

I agree. But I blame it on being young, I suppose.

D: Wtf. It's not even really about paying for it but imo, it's bad manners. :S
